When Skritch the Goblin Wizard first pried open the heart of the Tanerion Forge, he did not do so alone.
As the runes screamed into existence and raw creation spilled across the anvil, Skritch felt the magic twist—wild, unstable, hungry. Knowing the forge would devour lesser minds, he carved a final rune not into stone, but into loyalty.
That rune found Beaux.
The forge did not change Beaux’s body—it anchored his spirit. Where Skritch speaks spells aloud, Beaux answers with instinct. Where Skritch bends magic, Beaux steadies it. The two are bound by an unspoken pact: Skritch shapes creation, Beaux ensures it never turns against its makers.

When Skritch is lost in arcane obsession, Beaux stands watch. When enemies breach the workshop walls, Beaux is the first to move—and the last to fall. The runes glow brightest beneath his paws, reacting not to power, but to devotion.
