Once a mortal archmage obsessed with the boundary between life and death, Vorrak shattered that boundary and was consumed by it. His flesh withered, but his will endured—anchored to stolen souls siphoned through forbidden rites and bound into his twisted form. The blue fire that wreathes him is not flame, but the raw essence of spirits torn screaming from their bodies.

Vorrak wanders battlefields and forgotten ruins, harvesting the dying to fuel his unending hunger. The cauldron at his feet is a soul-vat, bubbling with stolen life force, while the skull-topped staff serves as both focus and prison for the spirits he enslaves. Those who meet his gaze feel their strength unravel as their souls are pulled toward him, piece by piece.

To confront Vorrak is to risk more than death. Those slain by his hand do not pass on—they are bound into his magic, forever screaming, forever burning, until the Soulflayer himself is finally destroyed… or ascends beyond mortality entirely.
